An Accelerated Nonlinear Contrast Source Inversion Scheme for Sparse Electromagnetic Imaging
نویسندگان
چکیده
An efficient nonlinear contrast source inversion scheme for electromagnetic imaging of sparse two-dimensional investigation domains is proposed. To avoid generating a sequence linear optimization problems, the non-linearity directly tackled using Landweber (NLW) iterations. A self-adaptive projected accelerated steepest descent (A-PASD) algorithm incorporated to enhance efficiency NLW The enforces sparsity constraint by projecting result each iteration into L 1 -norm ball and selects largest-possible step without sacrificing from convergence. Numerical results, which demonstrate proposed scheme's accuracy, efficiency, applicability, are presented.

متن کاملA finite-difference contrast source inversion method
We present a contrast source inversion (CSI) algorithm using a finite-difference (FD) approach as its backbone for reconstructing the unknown material properties of inhomogeneous objects embedded in a known inhomogeneous background medium. Unlike the CSI method using the integral equation (IE) approach, the FD-CSI method can readily employ an arbitrary inhomogeneous medium as its background. Th...
متن کاملAccelerated Image Reconstruction for Nonlinear Diffractive Imaging
The problem of reconstructing an object from the measurements of the light it scatters is common in numerous imaging applications. While the most popular formulations of the problem are based on linearizing the object-light relationship, there is an increased interest in considering nonlinear formulations that can account for multiple light scattering. In this paper, we propose an image reconst...
متن کاملHighly accelerated dynamic contrast enhanced imaging.
PURPOSE Dynamic contrast-enhanced imaging provides unique physiological information, notably the endothelial permeability (K(trans)), and may improve the diagnosis and management of multiple pathologies. Current acquisition methods provide limited spatial-temporal resolution and field-of-view, often preventing characterization of the entire pathology and precluding measurement of the arterial i...
متن کاملRealizable Electromagnetic Fields: A Source Inversion-Based Approach
The question of realizability of electromagnetic fields is investigated in connection with an inverse source problem formulation. A necessary and sufficient condition is derived for a radiation field to be realizable from square-integrable sources confined within a given spherical volume.
